Mackney Photography uses the latest high-end digital capture technology to deliver the very best image quality to our clients. This includes the specialist Nikon D800E D-SLR with 36.3 megapixels and no optical low-pass filter, meaning it provides the ultimate image detail and sharpness in its class. For sports and action projects we use the high-speed Nikon D4, that can capture 11 frames per second. And when imagery is required for CGI purposes, Mackney Photography utilises its Hasselblad system mated to a high-resolution Phase One medium format digital back.

We are also specialists in the use of fast-duration flash, a technique that enables us to freeze liquids in motion and is a fundamental element of Mackney's unique style found in sports and action photography. We are able to take this advanced technology out on location too, so can apply the signature Mackney lighting style to any concept or situation. Mackney Photography only uses top-of-the-line Eizo displays for imaging work to guarantee absolute colour confidence throughout the workflow and the latest software and Mac systems power our post-production and digital manipulation work. The studio also has a large range of backgrounds and props to hand, so be prepared to find something you might not have previously thought of!
